Game Analysis
Switch to record mode and start tagging key moments in the timeline with maximum flexibility and control.
Create Events
Overview
With your codes and tags ready, it’s time to start creating events. Events are the building blocks of your analysis—they mark key moments in the timeline that can later be turned into clips.
How to create events
Switch from Edit Mode to Record Mode using the toggle in your coding panel. Then, use the assigned shortcuts to start tagging. If you’re using Recording mode, pressing the shortcut once starts the event, and pressing again stops it. If you’re using Instant Save, a single press saves an event based on your predefined time window.
You can adjust playback speed to move faster through a post-game video. This helps speed up your workflow when coding offline footage.
Editing events
Events appear in the timeline once recorded. You can drag and move them to different rows, extend or shorten them, and reorganize them as needed.
Tip
You can always go back and edit events after creation. Don’t worry about being perfect during the first pass.
Next Step
Now that you have events in your timeline, let’s learn how to convert them into clips and organize them for visualization.
