Once you’ve trimmed and organized your clips, it’s time to bring them to life with visual tools. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to use the Annotations Module to add impactful visualizations that highlight key moments and support your tactical insights.
What is the Annotations Module?
The Annotations Module allows you to:
Add graphics like spotlights, arrows, and shapes
Control when and where these visuals appear on screen
Use them to guide attention, illustrate movement, or reinforce key tactical points
It’s a critical part of building presentations for your staff or players.
How to Add a Visualization
Open your Playlist and select a clip
Press Cmd+5 (Mac) or Ctrl+5 (Windows) to open the Annotations Module
Click the + button on the timeline
Choose a visualization from the menu (e.g., Spotlight, Arrow, Text)
Click on the video canvas to place it
You’ll see a colored bar on the timeline representing the duration of the effect.
Recommended First Steps
Start with the Spotlight effect to highlight a player or zone of the field. It’s one of the clearest and most versatile visual tools.
Once added, you can:
Move the visual on screen
Adjust size, opacity and duration
Use the Infobox to customize color, style and behavior
