Getting Started
Draw and highlight key actions live during your presentation using on-screen tools for real-time analysis.
In Presentation Mode, you’re not limited to pre-made visuals. You can draw live on your clips and add new visualizations in real time—perfect for spontaneous explanations or interactive sessions with players.
In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to use PlayBase’s live drawing tools to add graphics during a presentation without affecting your original clips.
How It Works
When you’re in Presentation Mode, you can open the Visualizations Panel to access live telestration tools. These tools let you draw directly on the video or place visual effects that appear during playback.
These live visuals are not saved to the clip—they exist only for the current presentation session.
What You Can Add
Arrows and shapes to indicate movement or position
Spotlights and highlights to focus attention
Text and player identifiers
Speed indicators or rings
These elements help you reinforce key ideas on the fly while watching with others.
How to Use It
Enter Presentation Mode
Click the drawing icon at the top-right corner to open the Visualizations Panel
Choose a tool (e.g. arrow, spotlight, speed tag)
Click and draw directly on the video canvas
Visuals will stay on screen as long as the clip is playing
You can undo visuals individually or clear them all at once before moving to the next clip.
Best Use Cases
Clarify tactical points during a live review
Respond to questions or player observations on the spot
Make your sessions more interactive and visually engaging
