Event/Clip Description

Overview

Each clip in Metrica Nexus includes an Event/Clip Description—an editable text box that helps you identify, label, and organize your content. It’s a great way to keep track of what each clip represents in your playlist.

How it works

Event/Clip descriptions automatically reflect the name of the clip in your Organizer. If you change the name there, it will update in the description box shown in the video.

You can also open the Event/Clip Description Settings to customize everything:

• Title text

• Notes field

• Font, color, size, and position

• Tags shown on screen

Best practices

Use concise and descriptive titles like “Build-up to Goal” or “Pressing Trap Right Side”. Keep your notes short and actionable for easy sharing with players or staff.

Tip

Move your notes close to the clip name in the Organizer to create a faster workflow and keep clip metadata consistent.
