Import XML

Overview

Metrica Nexus allows you to import XML files from other platforms or from your previous sessions in Nexus. This makes it easy to integrate external coding data or reuse your own past work.

How to import an XML

Click the “+” button in the Organizer and choose “Import XML”. Navigate to your file and load it into the workspace. The events will appear in your timeline, preserving the original tags and timestamps.

Compatibility

XML files from other analysis platforms can be compatible as long as they follow standard formatting. This is useful when working with external analysts or partner organizations.

Tip

Always double-check that imported XMLs align correctly with your video file for accurate syncing.
