Add multiple visuals at different moments within a single pause to build layered storytelling.
Sequential Pauses
Overview
Sequential Pauses allow you to stop the video and add multiple visualizations in different stages—ideal for breaking down complex plays step by step.
How to add a pause
Press P while on the timeline to insert a pause block (default is 5 seconds). You can stretch or shrink the pause by dragging its edge. Then, add your visualizations within the pause and adjust their timing using the timeline.
This gives you full control over when each visual appears within the paused frame.
Why use pauses
• Break down multi-step tactics like pressing or buildup.
• Show sequences of movement in a frozen frame.
• Highlight different layers of play within a single moment.
Tip
Use multiple pause layers within the same clip to add sequencing and tempo to your visual storytelling.
