Overview

Tags allow you to add rich context to your coding by labeling actions with specific attributes. You can group them by phase of play and assign keyboard shortcuts for efficient tagging.

How to organize your tags

You can create ungrouped tags or group them under categories like Attack or Defense. For example, under Attack, you might add tags for Shots, Crosses, and Chances. Under Defense, tags might include Tackles, Interceptions, and Clearances.

Assigning shortcuts and favorites

Tags can be triggered with shortcut keys. Click on a tag to assign a shortcut. You can also “favorite” certain tags so they appear when a specific code is active, keeping your interface clean and focused during analysis.

Tip

Favorite only the tags that are relevant to a given code. This makes your Elements window much easier to navigate while coding.

Next Step

After building your tag library, the next step is to save this configuration as a reusable Coding Sequence Template.
