Showcase Panel

The Showcase Panel is a dedicated presentation environment inside Metrica Nexus. It is designed for coaches, analysts, and performance staff who need to present video analysis clearly and efficiently during team meetings, live sessions, or remote workflows. Showcase opens in a separate window and allows you to control playback, navigate through clips, draw temporary visualizations, and customize your interface for touchscreens, second screens, or large-format displays.

This article explains how to access the Showcase Panel, how to load your clips, how to use its visualization tools, and how to configure presentation settings to match your workflow.

Accessing the Showcase Panel

You can open Showcase from the Organizer using any of the following methods:

1. Right-click on a clip or folder

  • Select a single clip, or

  • Select a folder containing multiple clips

  • Right-click → Play in Showcase Panel

Multiple clip selection is not supported.
If you open Showcase from a single clip, Nexus loads that clip directly.
If you open Showcase from a folder, Nexus loads the entire folder and displays the first clip unless a specific clip was selected inside that folder.

Go to the menu bar → Showcase → Open Showcase Panel

3. Keyboard shortcut

  • Mac: Command + P

  • Windows: Control + P
