Coding Sequences

Overview

Coding Sequences are one of the core features in Metrica Nexus. They allow you to tag, organize, and review the most important moments in any match or training session—either live or post-game.

How to create a Coding Sequence

Start by creating a new coding sequence in your workspace. Select the match you want to analyze and click “Create New Code”. Name it based on the phase of play or type of action you want to tag—like Attack, Defense, or Set Pieces.

You can also duplicate an existing code to reuse its structure and settings, saving time on setup.

Customize your codes

Each code can be customized with colors, shortcuts, and saving types to fit your workflow. Assign meaningful names and choose distinct colors to quickly identify them in your timeline.

Shortcuts are essential for efficient tagging. Assign a unique shortcut key to each code for fast recording during live or video review.

Next Step

Once your codes are created, it’s time to define how they behave—starting with Saving Types.
